Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger and Burn archetype piloted by Niv-Mizzet, Visionary. The strategy centers on leveraging the commander's ability to draw cards whenever noncombat damage is dealt to opponents. By establishing early ramp and cost-reducers such as Goblin Electromancer and Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck deploys Niv-Mizzet, Visionary around Turn 5. Once operational, any multi-target burn spell like Boltwave or Flame Rift, or cheap spells cast alongside pingers like Firebrand Archer, Erebor Flamesmith, and Guttersnipe, draws between 3 and 12 cards per spell. This massive card influx fuels continuous chains of rituals, burn spells, and damage amplifiers, rapidly draining all three opponents from 40 to 0 life in a single turn cycle. Alternatively, the deck can draw its entire library to close the game with Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac. Intermittent countermagic, Swiftfoot Boots, and Propaganda provide baseline defense against opposing aggression.
