Deck overview

This is a Grixis spells-matter deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage, built to chain instants and sorceries through a dense web of casting payoffs. Black Waltz No. 3, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, Mysidian Elder, and Vivi Ornitier each burn opponents on every noncreature spell, while Gandalf the Grey, Alania, Divergent Storm, and Thousand-Year Storm multiply the volume. Vivi Ornitier doubles as the end-game mana engine - her power grows with each spell, and her {0} ability converts that power into {U}/{R} to fuel massive X-spells like Finale of Revelation and Blatant Thievery. A strong instant/sorcery recursion package (Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy, Quistis Trepe, Wishing Well, Wisdom of Ages) lets the deck recast its best spells, and a Wizard tribal subtheme ties the engines together. The deck wins through incremental burn, a transformed The Lord Master of Hell attack, or a giant spell turn.
