Deck overview

This is a Temur wheel-and-token deck helmed by Xyris, the Writhing Storm, built to convert symmetrical wheel effects into an overwhelming snake swarm. The core loop is simple and explosive: cast a wheel like Windfall or Jace's Archivist, and every opponent drawing cards spawns a 1/1 Snake via Xyris's trigger, instantly flooding the board. The swarm then closes the game through anthem-style finishers like Shared Animosity, the drain reach of Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Goblin Bombardment, or the one-shot infect blowout of Triumph of the Hordes. The deck packs a dense protection and stack-interaction suite (free spells, counterspells, hexproof/indestructible tricks) to keep Xyris alive and resolve its pivotal turns. It is a lean, fast, commander-centric engine that punishes the table for drawing cards and wins by burying opponents under snakes.
