Deck overview

This Azorius Spellslinger deck blends tempo control, spell-velocity card advantage, and go-wide token combat. Commanded by Zethi, Arcane Blademaster, the deck aims to spend the early turns sculpting its hand and graveyard with low-cost cantrips such as Brainstorm, Consider, and Faithful Mending. Once key instants reside in the graveyard, Zethi enters with multikicker to imprint them with kick counters, casting free copies on every attack step. This engine feeds explosive magecraft and spell-cast payoffs like Archmage Emeritus, Monastery Mentor, and Talrand, Sky Summoner, rapidly generating a lethal airborne or prowess-buffed token army. Supported by an extensive instant-speed protection suite (Flawless Maneuver, Galadriel's Dismissal) and decisive combat finishers like Akroma's Will, the deck reliably shields its board, answers opposing threats, and closes the game through overwhelming combat damage over two to three attack rotations.
