Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on discard velocity, graveyard recursion, and asymmetric resource denial helmed by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Early turns prioritize deploying the commander to filter cards through unblockable connive attacks. Transforming into Green Goblin on Turn 4 grants all discarded nonland cards Mayhem with a {2} mana discount, effectively turning the graveyard into an extended, discounted hand. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into high-impact threats, pairing wheel spells with Notion Thief to empty opposing hands, clearing boards with Archfiend of Ifnir, or overwhelming blockers with Living Laser. It closes out games on Turn 6 through combat damage, direct discard burn from Magmakin Artillerist, or the compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo. While the deck possesses explosive card flow and high synergy, its reliance on creature permanents and graveyard access leaves it vulnerable to targeted removal and graveyard exile.
