Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu combat and reanimator build centered on Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. The primary game plan seeks to load the graveyard with premier Assassin payoffs—such as Virtus the Veiled, Unstoppable Slasher, Bayek of Siwa, and The Master, Multiplied—using efficient tutors and discard outlets. Altaïr then attacks to exile these creatures with memory counters, generating tapped and attacking token copies each combat step. Trigger doublers like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege rapidly compound the army size, while The Master, Multiplied allows the temporary tokens to persist indefinitely. The deck backs up this aggressive clock with efficient spot removal and targeted equipment protection, while maintaining resilience through secondary reanimation spells.
