Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir Ninjutsu tempo list commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan leverages a dense suite of 1-mana unblockable creatures to reliably activate Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. Because Commander ninjutsu is an activated ability usable directly from the command zone, Yuriko completely bypasses commander tax and standard counterspells. Once in play, Yuriko converts combat connections into card advantage and global burn, draining all three opponents simultaneously based on the mana value of revealed cards. The deck maximizes this burn output through topdeck manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Sensei's Divining Top, setting up high-cost spells such as Shadow of Mortality and Dig Through Time to deal upwards of 15 damage per trigger. Supported by efficient countermagic and bounce removal, the deck maintains steady tempo while racing to eliminate the entire table around Turn 5.
