Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive, combat-focused token strategy led by Otharri, Suns' Glory. The primary game plan accelerates into Otharri on Turn 4, capitalizing on native haste to immediately attack, accumulate experience counters, and flood the board with tapped-and-attacking Rebel tokens. On subsequent turns, the deck compounds this pressure through potent damage multipliers, anthem effects like Cathars' Crusade and Shared Animosity, and entry-based burn triggers such as Impact Tremors and Warleader's Call. Extra combat spells including Relentless Assault and Aurelia, the Warleader exponentially accelerate experience counter generation and combat damage. Because experience counters remain on the player permanently, Otharri's threat level never diminishes, and its built-in recursion ability allows it to return from the graveyard easily. The deck defends its expanding swarm with top-tier protection spells like Clever Concealment and Boros Charm, reliably eliminating all three opponents by Turn 7.
