Commander: Syr Konrad, the Grim

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Syr Konrad, the Grim headlines a mono-black aristocrats and self-mill strategy designed to weaponize zone transitions into lethal burn across the table. The primary game plan fills graveyards quickly through symmetrical mill artifacts, sacrifice fodder, and dredge engines, triggering Syr Konrad whenever creatures enter or leave graveyards. Secondary win paths leverage explosive mana engines like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast to cast game-ending spells like Breach the Multiverse or loop creatures via Tortured Existence and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Backed by extensive creature reanimation and asymmetric edicts, the deck steadily exhausts opponent life totals while maintaining full graveyard control.
