Deck overview

Strefan, Maurer Progenitor leads a Rakdos Vampire tribal deck focused on cheating high-cost Vampires directly onto the battlefield attacking and indestructible. The deck sets up on early turns with mana rocks and low-cost life-loss enablers like Creeping Bloodsucker and Voldaren Epicure. Once Strefan enters the battlefield, he generates Blood tokens at each end step based on player life loss. Beginning on Turn 5, Strefan attacks and sacrifices Blood tokens to deploy devastating threats such as Necropolis Regent, Olivia's Attendants, and Crossway Troublemakers without paying their mana costs. While the deck lacks instant-win combos or fast mana, it compounds board presence through combat buffs and group life-drain effects from Sanctum Seeker and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. It uses Blood tokens for card filtering and graveyard setup, backing up its aggressive plan with reanimation tools like Lich-Knights' Conquest and Olivia, Crimson Bride, closing out games around Turn 8.
