Deck overview

This deck is a synergy-focused Golgari aristocrats list built around Dina, Soul Steeper. It aims to generate steady streams of Pest creature tokens and trigger life gain and life loss simultaneously. Low-cost ramp and early utility creatures set up engines like Sedgemoor Witch, Blight Mound, and Dina, Essence Brewer. As tokens die or are sacrificed to outlets like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Skullclamp, Dina and her redundant drain counterparts incrementally whittle down opponent life totals. The deck closes games around Turn 9 by converting large boards into lethal alpha strikes with Blossoming Bogbeast or Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, backed by death triggers. While resilient to single-target removal due to high engine redundancy and low commander cost, the deck lacks infinite combos and fast mana, leaving it vulnerable to mass exile effects and prolonged sweeper exposure.
