Commander: The Wise Mothman

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a mill-and-counters combo list built around The Wise Mothman. It floods opponents' graveyards with rad counters, Mesmeric Orb, Altar of the Brood, Ruin Crab, and dedicated mill spells, while every nonland card milled grows the The Wise Mothman board. The primary victories are compact mill-outs: Food Chain plus Eternal Scourge or Misthollow Griffin looping into Altar of the Brood, Mindcrank paired with Duskmantle Guildmage or an active Bloodchief Ascension, and Bruvac the Grandiloquent with a kicked Maddening Cacophony. A secondary plan uses the +1/+1 counter package (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Kami of Whispered Hopes) to beat down with an evasive, oversized The Wise Mothman. Muldrotha, the Gravetide and a reanimation core give the deck strong grind potential after disruption, while a five-tutor plus cheap-interaction package keeps the combo turn protected.
