Deck overview

This Jeskai Superfriends deck is commanded by Commodore Guff and focuses on assembling a dense network of planeswalkers while suppressing opposing aggression through combat taxes and asymmetric board wipes. The early game is dedicated to establishing mana acceleration via two-mana artifacts and deploying pillowfort blockers such as Wall of Denial, Tomik, Orzhov Lawmage, and Silent Arbiter. Once Guff enters on Turn 4, the deck begins accumulating loyalty counters and Wizard tokens, chaining into heavy-impact walkers like Chandra, Legacy of Fire, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Tezzeret, Artifice Master. Asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast and Promise of Loyalty clear enemy boards while preserving planeswalker loyalty. Win conditions focus on cumulative burn from Guff's -3, direct emblem damage, or transforming the planeswalker collective into lethal 4/4 flying Dragons with Sarkhan the Masterless.
