Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis Spellslinger Control build commanded by Zevlor, Elturel Exile. Its central game plan converts single-target high-impact spells into crushing asymmetric effects across all three opponents. By establishing early mana acceleration and spell cost reduction through cards like Goblin Electromancer and Arcane Signet, the deck deploys Zevlor on Turn 5 to prepare devastating copy turns. On Turn 6, resolving a Zevlor-tripled bomb such as Rush of Dread, Cruel Ultimatum, or Thought Distortion decimates opposing boards and hands while generating massive resource advantage. To close out games, the deck leverages severe life loss, stolen opposing threats via Bribery, or the compact infinite Magecraft combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog. The deck incorporates robust recursion from Kess, Dissident Mage and Lier, Disciple of the Drowned, maintaining resilience against removal while keeping opponents suppressed under heavy combat goading and hand disruption.
