Toph by KrysApex

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An aggressive lands-matter combat deck built around earthbending. Toph, First Metalbender turns artifact lands and spare artifacts into extra lands, while her end-step earthbend grows one animated land every turn. The primary plan is to pile +1/+1 counters on a few land creatures, give them double strike with Toph, Greatest Earthbender, then use Bumi, Unleashed or Moraug, Fury of Akoum to add an extra combat and kill the table. Secondary routes are landfall tokens (Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat) and counter-doubling value engines. Toph, Greatest Earthbender is the de facto hidden commander; without her, the combat line relies on sheer land size and extra combat.
