Deck overview

Vela the Night-Clad leads a Dimir token, aristocrats, and clone-burst combo deck. The primary win condition uses mass copy effects like Mirrorform, Sakashima's Will, or a kicked Rite of Replication targeting Vela. When your nonland permanents become copies of Vela, the legend rule forces all but one into the graveyard simultaneously. Because each copy sees all other copies leave the battlefield, Vela deals exponential life loss that eliminates all opponents at once. The secondary plan creates swarms of Eldrazi Spawn, Thopters, and Serfs to bleed opponents with Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat while swinging with unblockable intimidate attackers.
