Deck overview

This mono-black attrition deck uses Tergrid, God of Fright to turn resource denial into overwhelming board presence. The game plan focuses on deploying continuous discard and sacrifice pieces like Bottomless Pit, Oppression, and Fleshbag Marauder. Once Tergrid hits the battlefield, symmetric discard spells like Dark Deal and Delirium Skeins trigger massive swings by stealing opponents' discarded permanents and sacrificed creatures. The deck locks opponents out of cards and mana while building a decisive board state of stolen permanents, closing the game through combat damage and life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim and Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
