Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs Zellix, Sanity Flayer with Haunted One to run an aggressive mill and combo strategy. The primary plan seeks to assemble a two-card infinite loop using Mindcrank alongside Duskmantle Guildmage or Bloodchief Ascension. Once active, any life loss or milled card causes an opponent to lose their entire life total and mill their whole deck in a single continuous chain. Zellix, Sanity Flayer supplies reliable mill from the command zone while producing a swarm of 1/1 Horror tokens whenever creature cards enter opposing graveyards. Backing up the main combo is a dense suite of efficient tutors, fast mana rituals, and cheap countermagic to defend the win. If the primary artifact line is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into alternate win conditions such as Bruvac the Grandiloquent paired with a kicked Maddening Cacophony or drain engines like Syr Konrad, the Grim.
