Rivaz of the Claw v2

Format: Commander

Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rivaz of the Claw leads a Rakdos Dragon reanimator deck. Rivaz taps for two mana to cast Dragons and lets you cast one Dragon from your graveyard each turn, turning Entomb, Buried Alive, and looting spells into ramp. The main plan is to fill the graveyard, cheat large Dragons into play at a discount with Medallions and Shamans, and win with Dragon enter-the-battlefield damage or combat. Secondary paths use Sneak Attack, Molten Echoes, and reanimation (Animate Dead, Reanimate, Bladewing the Risen) to create explosive turns. The hidden engine is the graveyard itself - Boneyard Scourge, Ebondeath, and Dracolich recur without Rivaz, while Hoarding Broodlord and Ganax generate card advantage and Treasures.
