Deck overview

This is a pure instant-and-sorcery Codie, Vociferous Codex deck that never casts permanent spells. The game plan is to ramp with land-search sorceries, deploy Codie, and repeatedly activate him for WUBRG plus a free cascade into a cheaper instant or sorcery. Primary wins are Approach of the Second Sun (cast twice from hand) and Maze's End (ten differently named Gates). Reshape the Earth, Through the Forest Gate, and dense Gate tutors assemble the land win; premium black tutors and Wheel of Fortune close the Approach line the turn after the first resolution. A heavy counter suite and one-sided wipes keep the table off the cascade engine while fogs buy time. Codie is the central mana-and-cascade engine but both win conditions live entirely in the 99.
