Deck overview

This mono-black deck commands Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to convert opponents' natural resource acquisition into rapid life total attrition while sustaining its own life buffer. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Sheoldred ahead of curve using mono-black acceleration like Dark Ritual and Sol Ring, followed immediately by symmetric draw and wheel effects such as Teferi's Puzzle Box, Dark Deal, and Seizan, Perverter of Truth. Each card an opponent draws inflicts two damage, turning standard draw steps and cantrips into lethal liabilities. Beyond draw-punish burn, the deck features redundant A+B infinite life-drain loops anchored by Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Sanguine Bond, alongside the Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank mill loop. High-tier interaction like Opposition Agent, Orcish Bowmasters, Deadly Rollick, and Toxic Deluge stifles opposing development, while unconditional tutors ensure seamless transitions between attrition and combo finishes.
