Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to spearhead an aggressive +1/+1 counters stompy strategy. The game plan accelerates through dense low-cost mana dorks and ramp spells during the first three turns. On turn 4 or 5, it deploys scaling threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Managorger Hydra, and Vorinclex itself. Vorinclex doubles all friendly counter placement while cutting opposing counters in half. This interaction completely neutralizes opposing planeswalkers, sagas, and counter strategies as an asymmetric bonus. The deck converts massive power into table-wide pressure using built-in trample from cards like Garruk's Uprising, Tuskguard Captain, and Vorinclex. It closes the game by dealing lethal combat damage across multiple attack steps, typically finishing on turn 8. While the deck boasts high redundancy among its big creatures, it lacks stack interaction and relies on combat steps over several turns, leaving it vulnerable to mass exile and bounce board wipes.
