Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Midrange Control deck commanded by Rubinia Soulsinger that focuses on turning opponents' greatest threats into your own assets. The game plan opens with dense 1-2 CMC ramp spells and mana dorks to deploy Rubinia or an interchangeable theft aura like Control Magic on Turn 4 or 5. Once established, the deck leverages sacrifice outlets like Greater Good and Evolutionary Leap or blink spells like Cloudshift to either permanently keep stolen creatures or convert them into massive card draw and fresh threats. On Turn 7, the deck reaches critical onset with devastating top-end bombs like Blatant Thievery, Agent of Treachery, or Bribery, seizing the table's strongest permanents. The deck finishes games over 3 response cycles of combat damage, closing out around Turn 10 while protecting its board with countermagic, boots, and indestructible effects.
