Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros midrange and reanimator build commanded by Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire. The strategy uses rummaging and discard effects to place heavy creature threats into the graveyard, returning them to the battlefield via Joshua's Saga transformation, Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, and Feldon of the Third Path. As creatures enter, static burn engines such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Terror of the Peaks, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator convert deployment into substantial group damage. Amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Fiery Emancipation accelerate this damage, turning reanimation triggers into game-ending bursts. Card flow is sustained through efficient rummaging and impulse engines like Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, while low-cost removal spells like Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile disrupt opposing threats. The deck reliably overpowers tables by Turn 8 through relentless direct burn and aggressive combat attacks.
