Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Edgar Markov Vampire tribal deck blending aggressive swarm beatdown with aristocrat drain and a compact infinite combo backup. Edgar's eminence ability functions from the command zone, providing free 1/1 Vampire tokens on every Vampire cast. This passive board generation fuels explosive anthem effects like Shared Animosity, card engines like Skullclamp, and drain effects from Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker, and Vein Ripper. The deck accelerates early using premier mana rocks and low-curve creatures, creating an imposing board presence by Turn 3 and presenting must-answer lethal combat pressure by Turn 5. Supported by efficient removal, free interaction spells, and instant-speed protection such as Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm, the deck also carries an alternate win condition via the Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood infinite drain loop to bypass clogged boards.
