Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange spellslinger strategy led by Silverquill, the Disputant. It builds an early board presence using low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Sedgemoor Witch. Once the commander enters the battlefield, every instant and sorcery gains casualty 1, allowing the deck to sacrifice disposable tokens to duplicate removal spells, modal charms, and adventure effects. This provides heavy 2-for-1 board control while advancing your own board state. The primary win condition transforms wide token boards into lethal evasive threats through scaling +1/+1 counter engines like Cathars' Crusade, Virtue of Loyalty, and Felisa, Fang of Silverquill. The deck features diverse interaction across all permanent types and stack interaction in white, backed by counter preservation from The Ozolith and Resourceful Defense. It operates primarily at sorcery and combat speed, steadily closing the game out through flying combat damage by Turn 8.
