Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toughness-matters Abzan deck built around Doran as a cost reducer and combat pump. The primary plan is to deploy high-toughness creatures, stick one of the toughness-damage enablers (Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Felothar, or Baldin), then swing with Doran and friends; Doran's attack trigger turns 0/5 walls into 5/10+ threats. Secondary lines use life gain to drain with Indulging Patrician and Betor, and large recursion via Colfenor's Urn, Luminous Broodmoth, or Reunion of the House. There is no hidden commander; the partner legends are support pieces, not alternate commanders. The win is combat-based and somewhat linear, leaning on one of the four enablers to turn inflated toughness into damage.
