Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan Food/Halfling deck is built around the paired commanders Frodo and Sam: Sam creates Food every combat and discounts Food activations, while Frodo turns timely life gain into Ring temptations and card draw. The real engine in the 99 is the hidden Merry/Pippin pair plus Peregrin Took, which multiply Food output. The main plan is to amass a critical number of Foods and convert them into life, card draw, and eventually a multiplayer drain with Mirkwood Bats and Sanguine Bond. Combat is a backup finish, using Feasting Hobbit, Pippin's pump, or Motivated Pony to turn the Food supply into an overwhelming attack.
