Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal and lifegain midrange strategy led by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. The main plan is to cast efficient flying creatures, support them with lifegain triggers, and deploy Liesa to protect your board while exiling opposing creatures that die. In the midgame, the deck lands large aerial threats and anthem effects like Lyra Dawnbringer and True Conviction to close out the game through evasive combat damage over several turns. While Liesa offers excellent asymmetric graveyard hate and creature recursion, the deck is constrained by a very low land count (27 lands) and limited card draw, making early mana development and hand replenishment its most significant operational challenges.
