assassin's guild by TheVoice

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa leads a Mardu monarch-control list whose main goal is to take the crown early and grind the table out. Primary plan: play Marchesa or a monarch enabler by turn three, hold the throne, and stack Court of Ire and Court of Ambition to produce 7-damage pings and 3-6 life drains every upkeep while deathtouch creatures clear the board. Secondary path is the Assassin package-Mari, the Killing Quill, Altair Ibn-La'Ahad, and The Revelations of Ezio-which turns removal and graveyard recursion into extra cards, Treasures, and evasive attacks. Marchesa's haste/deathtouch makes her a flexible turn-three threat; Mari is the closest thing to a hidden commander. There is no combo finish, so wins are deliberate.
