Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats strategy helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The game plan revolves around generating wide swarms of tokens, which Chatterfang doubles by creating 1/1 green Squirrel tokens alongside every created token. It converts these disposable bodies into versatile resources: mana via Ashnod's Altar and Cryptolith Rite, card draw through Skullclamp and Species Specialist, and continuous creature removal via Chatterfang's activated ability. The primary win condition drains the table through aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance. The deck controls the board with asymmetric sacrifice effects such as Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. With strong redundancy across token creators and death triggers, it achieves reliable Turn 4 assembly, establishes decisive table pressure by Turn 5, and closes out games by Turn 7.
