Deck overview

This deck utilizes Ozai, the Phoenix King as a high-tempo ramp engine and combat threat in Rakdos colors. By accelerating into Ozai on Turn 4, the deck leverages firebending 4 and Ozai's mana-retention replacement effect to bank red mana across phases. Once unspent mana reaches six or more, Ozai gains flying and indestructible while funding devastating high-cost spells. The deck caps its mana curve with legendary Eldrazi titans such as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Ulamog, the Defiler, and Kozilek, the Great Distortion, alongside engine cards like Bolas's Citadel and The One Ring. Efficient black removal keeps opposing aggressive decks in check while artifact acceleration builds an overwhelming resource pool. The deck closes games through massive annihilator attacks and commander combat damage by Turn 6.
