Deck overview

This is a five-color Equipment midrange/Voltron list helmed by Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa. The plan is to deploy cheap Equipment, free-equip enablers, and legendary beaters, then overwhelm the table through modified combat, extra combat steps, and commander-damage or wide pressure. Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa supplies flash protection (granting indestructible) and a late WUBRG pump, but the 99 carries the strategy: redundant Equipment carriers (Wyleth, Soul of Steel, Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, Eivor, Battle-Ready, Tifa, Martial Artist), attach engines (Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Bruenor Battlehammer, Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin), and two extra-combat payoffs. There are no infinite combos; wins come from combat damage, often accelerated by Akki Battle Squad or Tifa, Martial Artist chaining extra combats the turn they connect. The deck plays as a resilient, value-oriented Equipment pile that rebuilds through wipes by re-equipping the next body.
