Deck overview

This Bant deck is a high-synergy blink and enter-the-battlefield combo-control strategy led by Lagrella, the Magpie. The deck focuses on accelerating its mana on the early turns with efficient mana dorks before deploying value engines such as Soulherder, Risen Reef, and Initiative creatures. It uses powerful creature tutors like Birthing Pod and Eldritch Evolution to assemble three-piece flicker loops featuring Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, Lumbering Battlement, and Restoration Angel. These loops generate infinite creature tokens and infinite enter-the-battlefield triggers. Simultaneously, the deck controls opposing boards through repeatable removal engines such as Aura Shards, Bronzebeak Foragers, and Druid of Purification, capped by the asymmetric stax presence of Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. It defends its game plan using cheap instant-speed flicker spells and recovers quickly from disruption through deep graveyard recursion.
