Commander: Tom Bombadil

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tom Bombadil is the glue of a five-color Saga engine. The deck's primary plan is to resolve Tom, then chain final-chapter triggers into a stream of free Sagas. Barbara Wright is the effective hidden commander; she grants read ahead, letting Sagas enter at their last chapter, and Satsuki, Garnet, and counter-manipulation add extra velocity. The secondary path is classic Saga value: Narci drains, Historian's Boon makes Angels, and mass recursion (Resurgent Belief, Brilliant Restoration, Eerie Ultimatum) re-fires everything. Finishers are combat-oriented: Smaug, a 16/16 Galactus, Summon: Knights of Round, and Primal Odin's combat-loss trigger. Tom's hexproof/indestructible condition rewards maintaining four lore counters, making counter placement a central subgame.
