New Untitled Deck by jenessams

Format: Commander

Commander: Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might // Temple of Power

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red burn deck built to exploit Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might's replacement effect: any noncombat red source that would deal less than Ojer's power instead deals damage equal to that power. The primary plan is to pump Ojer's power - via equipment like Glamdring or instant-speed doublers such as Bulk Up - then fire off a chain of cheap burn spells (Boltwave, Chain Lightning, Lava Spike) to turn each one into a massive multi-opponent hit. Gandalf, Goblins' Bane acts as a second amplifier; each noncreature spell triggers Gandalf for 1 damage, which Ojer also replaces, adding another copy of Ojer's power to every burn spell. The deck runs a dense selection suite (exile-and-play effects, looting) to find its key pieces, but lacks real tutors and folds quickly if the commander is repeatedly removed.
