Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Stax-Aggro build led by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The strategy revolves around deploying inexpensive non-Human creatures and disruptive hate pieces during the opening turns. Once Winota enters the battlefield on Turn 4, every attacking non-Human triggers a six-card dig into the library, cheating powerful Human payoffs directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The deck breaks parity on severe Rule of Law effects like Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric, and Deafening Silence because Winota's triggers put creatures into play without casting spells. Heavy damage amplifiers like Angrath's Marauders, extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant, and wide token armies from Myrel, Shield of Argive and Lena, Selfless Champion rapidly close out games on Turn 5. Strong proactive protection pieces such as Flare of Fortitude and Boromir, Warden of the Tower ensure the army survives opposing interaction.
