Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an aristocrats combo-control strategy commanded by The Master of Lake-town. While the commander acts as an early deathtouch deterrent, mill accelerant, and situational card draw burst on death, the core objective is assembling compact sacrifice loops to drain the table. The primary win condition combines Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain outlet such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat to produce infinite death triggers, infinite mill, and infinite life drain on Turn 5. The deck supplements this proactive combo with potent asymmetric stax pieces like Dauthi Voidwalker and Opposition Agent, which heavily disrupt opposing graveyard strategies and tutor packages. Board control is maintained through sweepers such as Massacre Girl and asymmetric sacrifice edicts from Dictate of Erebos. Dense recursion ensures that disrupted combo pieces can be rapidly reanimated to close out the game.
