Dragons? In THIS Economy? by Pheonmstr

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-colour Dragon tribal deck is helmed by The Ur-Dragon, whose Eminence ability makes every Dragon you cast cheaper and whose combat trigger turns attacks into massive card advantage and board development. The primary game plan is to accelerate into a sky-full of Dragons, dominate the combat step with double strike and extra combat phases from Atarka, World Render and Hellkite Charger, and optionally close via Call the Spirit Dragons' win-the-game counter or straightforward damage. Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm doubles every non-token Dragon for overwhelming swarm density, while Tiamat and Korlessa, Scale Singer provide deep tool-box reach. The deck runs a solid but lean interaction and protection shell, counting opponents to fill the battlefield cheaply and keep the Commander swinging.
