Oops, All Gandalf by chewyslaw

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Gandalf, Party Guest-led Wizard-tribal spellslinger that leverages a dense field of legendary Wizards to cast huge instants and sorceries for free at the beginning of each combat. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of legendary Wizards, then use the commander's ability to chain extra-combat spells (Full Throttle, Savage Beating, World at War) and win via Insurrection or overwhelming combat damage. The deck also includes a single extra-turn spell (Expropriate) and several high-value value spells (Mizzix's Mastery, Mnemonic Deluge, Aminatou's Augury) that can be cast for free once the Wizard count is high enough. The strategy is explosive but relies heavily on the commander staying on the battlefield and on assembling a critical mass of legendary Wizards to enable the free-casting engine.
