Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Dimir discard and reanimation engine commanded by Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost looters and discard outlets to sculpt the graveyard with various card types, allowing Oskar to enter the battlefield cheaply on Turn 4. Once online, Oskar turns every discard action into instant-speed spellcasting directly from the graveyard, circumventing normal timing restrictions. Mid-game payoffs like Bone Miser, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Secrets of the Dead convert discards into massive card advantage, mana generation, and one-sided board suppression. The deck closes games around Turn 8 by draining the table with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Faith of the Devoted, and Feast of Sanity, or by overwhelming opponents with mass creature reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms. While vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate, Oskar's built-in cost reduction provides high resilience against removal.
