Dude where's Macar? by Largewoman

Format: Commander

Commander: King Macar, the Gold-Cursed

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-black Vehicle deck wins by crewing a dense artifact board and attacking, with King Macar as repeatable removal. You tap artifacts to cast spells with improvise (Inspiring Statuary, Herald of Anguish, Sly Requisitioner), crew Vehicles like Consulate Dreadnought and Thundering Chariot, and buff them with Cranial Plating, Chief of the Foundry and Steel Overseer. King Macar exiles a creature each time you untap him with Puppet Strings, Jandor's Saddlebags or Thousand-Year Elixir and makes Gold for ramp. Secondary wins are drain from Marionette Master, Disciple of the Vault and Nadier's Nightblade when artifacts die, and a large Exsanguinate fueled by Crypt Ghast. Marionette Master and Crypt Ghast act as hidden commanders.
