Deck overview

This deck leverages Chisei, Heart of Oceans as a specialized engine to manipulate counters across the battlefield. By turning Chisei's upkeep cost into an advantage, the deck removes age counters from cumulative upkeep staples like Glacial Chasm and Mystic Remora, locking opponents out of damage or drawing cards indefinitely. Sagas such as Kiora Bests the Sea God, The Phasing of Zhalfir, and Behold the Unspeakable are held on their most impactful chapters by stripping lore counters before the third chapter resolves. Fast token growth from Dark Depths and Chronozoa pairs with heavy blue interaction to close out the game while denying opponents effective counterplay.
