Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal midrange deck led by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the opening turns while benefiting from the commander's Eminence ability, which reduces the mana cost of all Dragon spells by one generic mana from the command zone. Starting on Turn 4 or 5, the deck deploys formidable flying threats that double as removal engines and value generators, such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas. Once an anchor Dragon is established, subsequent Dragon casts trigger immense enter-the-battlefield burn and create overwhelming combat boards. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide aerial attacks and burst direct damage. While its proactive creature pressure is immense, the deck features limited instant-speed interaction and relies on natural draws to find key haste and protection enablers.
