Magda Budget cEDH

Format: Commander

Commander: Magda, Brazen Outlaw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Dwarf tribal deck helmed by Magda, Brazen Outlaw, built around accumulating Treasure tokens and using the commander's activated ability to tutor artifact or Dragon cards directly onto the battlefield. The core strategy blends a low-curve dwarf swarm with artifact synergies, generating Treasures through tapping dwarves, committing crimes, or combat damage. The deck then converts those Treasures into a tutor effect, fetching powerful payoffs like God-Pharaoh's Statue for a stax lock or Spine of Ish Sah for removal, while dwarves and changelings provide a growing combat presence. The primary win condition is incremental combat damage backed by value engines, with no dedicated infinite combo. The deck is highly synergistic but relies heavily on the commander for tutoring and consistency.
