The Gambler by ThatGuyJaydos

Format: Commander

Commander: Setzer, Wandering Gambler

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Setzer is a coin-flip/Vehicle value engine: his Blackjack token plus the other Vehicles turn combat into Treasures, luck counters, and drain. The primary plan is to deploy Setzer early, add Krark's Thumb/Xorn/Mirkwood Bats, and win either through repeated Vehicle combat backed by token drain, or via Chance Encounter's 10 luck counters. Fiery Gambit and Magda's tutor offer burst turns. The deck is a mid-speed, board-based combo-aggro list with no hard combo; Krark, the Thumbless is support in the 99, not a second commander. A resolved permanent that shuts off activated abilities of artifacts is the biggest vulnerability because it disables crew, Treasures, and mana rocks with only Chaos Warp as an out.
