Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger-Otter tribal midrange deck helmed by Alania, Divergent Storm. The plan is to develop cheap Otter Wizards and magecraft engines, cast Alania, Divergent Storm, then systematically copy the first instant, sorcery, and Otter spell each turn by feeding opponents cards. Value snowballs through doubled cantrips, removal, and burn while prowess bodies and ping engines (Coruscation Mage, Queen Brahne tokens, Artist's Talent) pressure life totals. There are no infinite combo lines; wins come from attrition combat, noncombat burn, overloaded Cyclonic Rift blowouts, and the occasional Expropriate extra-turn swing. Secondary engines like Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Kitsa, Otterball Elite, and Twinning Staff multiply the same triggers so the deck still functions when Alania is answered. The list plays as interactive draw-go control that eventually buries the table under copied spells and a wide Otter board.
