Deck overview

Lord of the Nazgul is the deck's engine and finisher: every instant or sorcery makes a 3/3 Wraith, and once nine Wraiths are on the battlefield the whole board becomes 9/9. The commander is single-faced; the hidden role belongs to the nine Nazgul, which grow all Wraiths through Ring tempts. The primary plan is a spellslinger token strategy, using Baral and Haughty Djinn to reduce costs and chaining cheap spells into multiple Wraith tokens. Secondary paths include Talrand, Metallurgic Summonings, and Maskwood Nexus to reach the nine-Wraith threshold more quickly. Victory comes from two attack steps with the 9/9 menace swarm, often assisted by Crippling Fear or equipment.
