Deck overview

This deck is a Jund combat and sacrifice deck helmed by Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. The core plan is to accelerate mana on turns 1 and 2, cast Henzie on turn 3, and immediately begin blitzing powerful creatures with mana value 4 or greater starting on turn 4. Because blitz grants haste and a death-trigger cantrip, each deployed threat attacks immediately, applies heavy board pressure, and replaces itself in hand at the end step. Heavy hitters like Jumbo Cactuar, Etali, Primal Storm, and Kokusho, the Evening Star serve as explosive threats, while death triggers and sacrifice outlets like Ziatora, the Incinerator and Stalking Vengeance convert power into direct player damage. While the deck recovers smoothly from board wipes due to continuous card draw and scaling blitz discounts, it operates with minimal instant-speed stack interaction and is vulnerable to graveyard hate and exile removal.
