Commander: Szarekh, the Silent King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Szarekh, the Silent King leads a mono-black artifact midrange deck centered on attrition, self-mill, and graveyard recursion. Szarekh provides early card advantage and graveyard setup whenever he attacks, digging for potent Necron artifact creatures and Vehicles. The primary game plan develops mana rocks, fills the graveyard through incidental mill, and reanimates powerful threats using engines like Anrakyr the Traveller, Ghost Ark, and Living Death. Swarms of Necron Warrior tokens generated by Imotekh the Stormlord and Biotransference overwhelm opposing boards, while massive threats like Shard of the Void Dragon and Cranial Plating finish games through relentless, evasive combat damage.
